Every female fashion lover, dreams of finding that special shopping destination in her city – a place where style, design, and inspiration come together in a seamless blend; whisking her away to all her fashion fantasies. With inspiration from the early 1900’s, Paris and Chanel, LA PETITE GARCONNE brings to our female friends all that and more. Taking us back to a time when women first began working and wearing suits, the boutique embodies this era with neutral colors, white brick walls and white round luggage displays – think Coco Chanel meets Jackie O.
The name itself refers to a time in France where waiters, and bellboys were called “Les Garcons” – but with a feminine twist of course! Sister store to 1861, La Petite Garconne caters to the working woman; with brands such as Ted Baker, Mackage, FCUK and House of Harlowe.
Ms Castle Ho and her partner Simon Touzin are responsible for bringing this Parisian inspired boutique to la belle ville de Montreal – built brick by brick with love, literally! The power couple are a perfect balance and compliment – Simon being the store designer, he literally built the entire locale with his own hands; and Castle being the fashion lover and connoisseur, does all the buying for the boutique.
It’s a charming place, and the owners are equally so. They come together to create a beautiful shopping experience for locals and tourists alike.
We invite you to visit them at 3650 Boul Saint Laurent, and make sure to give a warm hello to Ms Castle – it will make your day!
