Knowing that love is in the details, it couldn’t be just any sky blue. She needed & wanted – THAT Sky Blue…
Eco-Friendly, Green & Environmentally conscious : words that we love. While some may view these as gimmicks or trends, we see them as a MOVEMENT. And as in any movement, there are pioneers whom intuitively – and seamlessly, adopt the practices. Case in point : THAT SKY BLUE.
9 years ago, Ms Litsa Babalis had taken a trip to New York City, that would change the course of her life. While there, she fell in love; it was the kind of love that makes you take risks and forces the changes in your life, that you have been seeking for. But still, this was no ordinary love. It was her first encounter, with a letterpress – a vintage print machine, that wowed the heart of Ms Babalis. And so, she took a leap of faith : left her job, bought her first machine, stayed up for nights, learning and mastering the technique – and finally, opened her very own printshop. Loving design and print, but knowing the negative impacts on the environment, Litsa decided she would do things differently – she would commit to using only 100% recycled cotton paper, and soy-based inks. Obsessed with creating detailed designs, That Sky Blue specializes in high-end stationery, gift wrap, greeting cards, invitations and custom pieces.
It is a labour intensive endeavour, no doubt – and none the less, a labour of 100% love.
