GLAM AND SOUL AT THOMAS SABO LAUNCH

Glam, colour and soul – three words that would best describe our first glimpse at the Thomas Sabo 2014 F/W collection preview last week.  CITYGUIDE by KA was invited to celebrate the launch at the Four Seasons Toronto, put on by the fabulous team at Faulhaber PR.  The brand, founded in Germany in 1984, has definitely outdone itself this year, starting off with its collaboration with beautiful ambassador Georgia May Jagger who is the face of their newest and brightest campaign.  Thomas Sabo is also continuing to create stunning pieces out of their Sterling Silver signature material and also with 18kt yellow and rose gold plating, this year mixing with various shades of art deco inspired designs and colors. We also noticed right off the bat, the collection’s mini line “Karma Beads” – which is something we love to see in a high end jewelry brand; the connection between jewelry and spirituality. And in this case, the Karma inspired collection comprises of 72 filigree beads and the ‘Wheel of Karma’ as the key piece – giving the wearer the opportunity to create their own “Karma”, so to speak.  As for the event itself, lets just say that the venue and guests sparkled just as much as the jewelry (and Dayana’s Shoes- see below), and we look forward to see what is next for Thomas Sabo.
